Thanks for your patience in the delay of new posts as it has been a very busy month on all fronts. In the meantime, I thought I'd share this bit of nostalgia that was passed on to me some time ago by a good Ranger buddy of mine. I always intended to post it, but lost track of time.

On the gaming front, I've completed some fun projects in an attempt to thin my ranks of vehicles and figs that, quite honestly, I wouldn't have space to game with (unless my table was the size of the Kursk battlefield) including ETO and N Africa SAS vehicles. It will also enable me to add and create some interesting skirmish vignettes that I have in mind for the future. ;)

I will be posting photos of all these soon, as well as listing them on Bartertown, The Miniatures Page and The Guild.

I am currently finishing up painting a group of mostly Artizan and some Black Tree Design U.S. troopers in greatcoats and M43 winter field jackets. I deliberately did not add snow effects so they can be deployed more universally in other environs.





For those of you who like Sergeant Rock (one of my favourites), I'll also have an interesting group of battle-hardened marauding American GIs for the Germans to contend with...I think they would also make an interesting Dirty Dozen scenario, which is why I bought them in the first place. he figs are many from Artizan Design's Thrilling Tales figs


I am also finishing up about 70 British Commandos from BAM and Artizan British Commandos, including characters from their Thrilling Tales line. There are some interesting figs in this lot, including Lord "Gotta" Lovat and his bagpiper, a couple of stealthy 2-man kayaks and 5 troopers on Welbikes (great for recon). I must say, I am very torn about parting with the kayaks and Welbikes
